Kästle ZX 115 (Model 25/26)
The ZX115 is the widest ski in the ZX range and is designed for skiers who want flotation, control and a bit of freedom to play in deep snow. The shape is modern and directional, but the ski still feels active rather than purely directional or straight-line focused.
The Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile lifts the tip and tail for easier turn initiation and better performance in soft snow. Camber underfoot adds edge grip and support when the surface becomes firmer. The ski prefers a fairly centred stance, giving it a balanced feel when moving between turns, terrain features and changing snow.
The directional shape combines a softer tip with a stronger tail. The softer front makes the ski easier to steer into the turn, while the supportive tail provides stability and control when the turn is loaded. Early taper brings the widest point of the ski closer to the centre, shortening the effective running surface and helping the ski release from the turn without unnecessary effort.
The construction follows the familiar Kästle formula: a selected wood core, fiberglass laminates, a durable Semi-Cap Sidewall and Hollowtech 2.0 in the tip. Hollowtech removes unnecessary material from the shovel, helping reduce swing weight while maintaining the damp, stable feel Kästle skis are known for. The sidewall construction improves power transfer to the edges and adds durability when the ski is used in demanding terrain.
The 2025/2026 version is essentially the same proven ZX115 platform as the previous model, with a fresh topsheet and the same unmistakable Kästle attitude. In other words: same ski, new outfit, no need to reinvent the powder.
