VOLA Touring Wax 80 g

VOLA Touring Wax is a specialist ski touring wax designed for use on both ski bases and climbing skins. Applied to climbing skins, it helps improve glide, reduce snow build-up and prevent snow from sticking to the fibres. On ski bases, it helps maintain good adhesion between the skins and the ski.

This solid wax is applied using a waxing iron. For ski bases, clean and dry the surface, apply the wax with an iron set to 120°C and leave it to dry for at least two hours. Scrape off the excess with a plastic scraper and brush the base.

For climbing skins, clean and dry them before applying the wax with a waxing iron. Work a few centimetres behind the iron to scrape off the wax while it is still warm. Allow it to dry, then brush away any excess with a nylon brush.

When waxing skins while they are attached to the skis, avoid pressing down with the iron. Too much pressure can force adhesive into the skin fibres.
