Touring skis

Ski touring skis are skis suitable for ascents and subsequent descents. The main feature of these skis is their light weight and skialp binding. There are several types of bindings and the ski boots that fit each binding vary. Your choice should be based mainly on what you intend to use the skis for. If your main focus is on ascent, choose skis that are as narrow (even under 80 mm) and as light as possible. On the other hand, for short hikes and freeride descents, you should have a fat skis. The perfect allrounder are skis with a width of around 85 mm.
