The Salomon Strive 12 is an all-mountain ski binding for intermediate skiers who want direct power transfer, quick ski response and a strong connection to the snow. Its low-profile LDN toe design keeps the binding close to the ski, helping you feel the terrain and react quickly, whether you're cruising groomers or exploring off-piste.

The LDN toe features a neutral stance, long XL jaws and an extra-wide toe pedal measuring over 60 mm. Together with the low-profile chassis, this design focuses on efficient power transfer and a more direct feel for the ski. A 72 mm-wide AFD interface provides a broad contact area between boot and binding.

The three-part Light heel is designed for easy step-in and consistent function without unnecessary bulk. The binding also offers 47 mm of elasticity, helping the boot remain engaged during impacts and reducing the likelihood of unwanted early release. Because nobody enjoys an unexpected separation from their skis halfway through a turn.

Automatic toe-jaw and toe-height adjustment means there's no need to manually adjust these elements to match compatible boots. The construction uses glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide, balancing low weight with durability, and the binding carries TÜV certification.

The Strive 12 is compatible with adult GripWalk boots conforming to ISO 23223 and alpine ski boots conforming to ISO 5355. As with any binding, correct setup and adjustment matter: have it mounted and adjusted by a qualified ski technician.
