The MTN Summit Pure is a lightweight ski touring boot for skiers who want comfortable ascents and enough support for enjoyable descents. Weighing 1,101 g per boot, the lightweight shell uses Ultramid polyamide to balance low weight with the stiffness needed for skiing. The fibreglass-reinforced cuff and recycled polyurethane components are designed to provide progressive flex and transfer power to your skis. With a 75° range of motion and a friction-free pivot, walking uphill feels considerably less like dragging a pair of ski boots through the mountains.

The Custom Shell HD construction allows the lower shell or cuff to be customised in around 10 minutes. The My Custom Fit Tour Pure liner combines Ultralon foam with neoprene around the toes for a comfortable fit and added warmth. A durable outer finish also makes getting the liner into the boot less of a wrestling match.

The closure system combines a lightweight buckle, a BOA® Fit System and Salomon's Touring Belt. The cable-operated BOA® system allows fine adjustments around the foot, while the strategically positioned touring belt helps secure the heel. A 45 mm Powerstrap adds support around the lower leg for the descent.

A full-rubber touring sole provides grip on snow and hard surfaces. Keep in mind that the sole and binding compatibility are listed as touring-specific and uncertified, so check compatibility with your binding before heading out. This is a touring-focused boot rather than a heavyweight freeride weapon, and that's precisely the point.
