Line Tom Wallisch Pro 2026/2027
Some skis are designed to cover a broad range of conditions. The Tom Wallisch Pro is not one of them. This is a purpose-built park ski developed around Tom Wallisch’s own skiing style, and Line has kept the construction unchanged for the 2026/2027 season.
The 118/90/116 mm dimensions at 178 cm and symmetrical Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile give the ski a balanced, predictable shape suited to freestyle skiing. The relatively symmetrical construction and modern taper are intended to make edge release consistent and keep the ski feeling natural when skiing switch, landing jumps or working on rails and presses.
Under the topsheet is an Aspen Veneer wood core reinforced with fiberglass and a carbon Ollieband. The carbon strip adds support and energy when buttering and pressing, while the relatively substantial construction gives the ski the heft expected from a park ski designed for repeated jumps and hard landings. The stated weight of the 178 cm is 2010 g per ski. That is not a lightweight park setup, but the balanced shape helps the ski feel more manageable in the air than the number alone might suggest.
The Tom Wallisch Pro is most at home in the park. Its flat-feeling profile and highly symmetrical shape favour predictable take-offs, landings, rails and freestyle manoeuvres rather than traditional piste skiing. Tester feedback also points to limited performance away from the park, particularly on groomed terrain, so this is a ski to choose because you want a dedicated freestyle tool—not because you need one ski for every day of the season.

Who is this ski for?
The Tom Wallisch Pro makes sense for an advanced or expert skier who spends most of their time in the park and wants a balanced, symmetrical ski for jumps, rails, presses and switch skiing. Its main strengths are predictability, balance in the air and the support provided by its substantial construction and carbon Ollieband.
The trade-off is simple: this is a specialised park ski. Its shape and relatively flat-feeling profile are not aimed at making groomers or variable snow its strong suit, and the ski does not have much reason to leave the park. If your skiing revolves around freestyle and you want a ski built around that discipline, the Tom Wallisch Pro fits the brief. If you are looking for a more versatile ski for piste, off-piste and occasional park sessions, a less specialised all-mountain or freestyle model would make more sense.
