Kästle Paragon 93 2026/2027

The Kästle Paragon 93 is the narrowest ski in the Paragon lineup and the one most focused on all-mountain skiing with a clear preference for the piste. It replaces the former FX series and brings a more modern shape to Kästle’s collection, combining a tapered shovel, freeride rocker and directional tail with a powerful construction.

Two sheets of Titanal and a triple woodcore give the Paragon 93 a stable, planted feel with plenty of support when you start pushing. It is quick and lively from edge to edge, but its real character comes through when you drive it into a turn and let it run. The 14.6 m radius in 177 cm makes for relatively tight, responsive turns, while the 93 mm waist provides useful versatility when the piste is no longer perfectly groomed.

The Hook Free Shovel and Tail, Double Rocker and HOLLOWTECH 2.0 help the ski feel less cumbersome than its metal construction might suggest. The freeride rocker profile also gives it some breathing room in softer snow, without turning it into a dedicated powder ski. The directional tail keeps the character focused and purposeful rather than loose and park-like.

The Paragon 93 is not the most forgiving ski in bumps, and it rewards an active skier who knows how to use the ski’s stiffness and stability. For that reason, it is best suited to advanced and expert skiers looking for a piste-oriented all-mountain ski that can be pushed hard on groomers and still handle variable snow off the side of the piste.

Summary:

The Kästle Paragon 93 is a stable, powerful all-mountain ski with a strong on-piste bias. Its 93 mm waist, two sheets of Titanal and triple woodcore make it a serious tool for advanced and expert skiers who like to drive their skis through fast, precise turns. The freeride rocker and tapered shovel add versatility in softer snow, but this is first and foremost a ski for making the most of the piste. Not the easiest ski in bumps, but a very rewarding one when you have the technique to match it.
