The Atomic Backland 85 is a lightweight, versatile touring ski designed for skiers who want efficiency on the climb and confidence on the descent. Built for all types of terrain, it strikes the perfect balance between weight, stability, and performance—ideal for everything from quick morning tours to longer backcountry adventures.

Developed with a lower-impact design, the ski uses more poplar wood and less fiberglass and resin to reduce CO₂ emissions while maintaining strong performance. The HRZN 3D Backland tip improves float in powder and variable snow, while the All-Terrain Profile enhances torsional stiffness and stability on harder surfaces.

A Light Woodcore keeps the ski responsive and efficient, and the Dura Cap Sidewall adds durability and reliable edge grip. The All Mountain Rocker (15/85/0) ensures smooth handling across different snow conditions.

This setup comes with pre-fit Skin 85/86 climbing skins, perfectly matched for easy attachment and optimal grip during ascents.
