Men’s ski touring boots Scott Cosmos are suitable for both beginner and intermediate ski tourers. The Cabrio Hybrid construction is lightweight thanks to Pebax® Rnew technology and provides a cuff rotation of up to 60°. The flex index of 110 ensures stability on descents while remaining flexible enough for walking. The lighter construction offers comfort on ascents, while a few extra grams provide added confidence and quality on the downhill.

DUAL-DENSITY VIBRAM® RUBBER THROUGHOUT THE SOLE

• The dual-density VIBRAM® rubber along the full length of the sole under the foot provides maximum grip on any non-snow terrain. The dual-density design has firmer black rubber around the edge of the sole for durability and excellent step-in binding support, while the softer red rubber in the center provides maximum grip when climbing.

POWERLITE 2.0

• The Powerlite 2.0 shells are shaped around the foot for a customized fit right out of the box. They are designed to provide more space for the first metatarsal, the “sixth toe,” ankle bone, and asymmetrical malleoli to match the body’s natural asymmetry, while offering a deep, supportive heel with room for common heel spurs. The toe width and height have been increased for even greater comfort.

CABRIO/HYBRID CONSTRUCTION

• The newly developed Cabrio/Hybrid construction represents a revolutionary boot design that combines the best features of classic Cabrio boots and traditional alpine ski boots. The result is a lower shell with a pivot point that allows fast and powerful edge-to-edge movements when skiing and agile flex characteristics during uphill travel. This construction prioritizes energy-efficient and versatile skiing.

ADJUSTABLE FORWARD LEAN

• The new adjustable forward lean technology advances versatility and flexibility in the mountains. Flipping the walk clip on the heel of the boot increases forward lean by up to 15°.

PEBAX® RNEW®

• Pebax® Rnew® materials are thermoplastic elastomers consisting of polyamide and polyether main chain blocks made from castor oil. Using Pebax® Rnew® ensures a combination of high-performance properties: permanent flexibility at low temperatures, high cold-impact resistance, and excellent energy return.
