The Roxy Ily is a lightweight women's freestyle ski for beginner to intermediate skiers who want to spend more time in the park, on jumps or in the halfpipe. At 86 mm underfoot, it is narrow enough to feel quick and nimble while still providing a solid platform for learning tricks and skiing switch.

The symmetrical rocker and twin-tip shape make switch skiing, spins and other freestyle tricks straightforward. A poplar and beech wood core with fibreglass provides useful pop, while the monocoque construction keeps the ski relatively light and easy to manoeuvre.

With a roughly 14-metre radius and a weight of around 1400 g, the Ily is quick and nimble and well suited to learning the basics of freestyle skiing. It works perfectly well on groomers, but the park is where it makes the most sense. This is not a stiff, high-performance park ski for large jumps and aggressive riding — its strengths are accessibility and easy progression.

If you want a light ski for park laps, learning jumps, skiing switch and gradually improving your freestyle skills, the Roxy Ily is a very sensible choice.
