The Lange Shadow 100 MV GW is a 100-flex alpine boot designed for intermediate skiers and progressing all-mountain skiers who want useful support without needing a particularly aggressive boot. Its 100 mm last sits in the middle of the fit spectrum, while the Shadow construction focuses heavily on efficient power transfer and a smooth, consistent flex.

The key feature is Lange’s assisted performance system, combining Dual Pivot and Suspension Blade technologies. By spreading the pivot points and connecting the upper and lower shell, the design creates mechanical leverage that increases power transmission while requiring less input from the skier. Lange states that the system can amplify skier input by up to 26%.

Suspension Blade also adds a degree of shock absorption to the shell, helping smooth out impacts while maintaining contact with the ski. The result is a boot designed to deliver usable power without demanding the same amount of effort from the skier. Flex Adjust allows the flex level to be modified by 10%, adding some flexibility to the setup.

The Core Custom 4 liner, asymmetric toe box and Auxetic Technology are aimed at maintaining an even, comfortable fit while allowing the liner and shell to adapt to the foot. Pre-molded GripWalk soles provide better traction and a more natural stride around the resort.
