Faction Idiom Jr.

The Faction Idiom Jr. is a junior park and freestyle ski for young skiers who want to progress in the park, learn to ski switch and still have a ski that works on the piste. At 78 mm underfoot, it is quick edge to edge, while the 3 mm of camber provides useful grip, pop and control.

The plywood wood core and cap construction keep things simple, light and durable — useful qualities for a ski that is going to spend plenty of time on rails, jumps and hard-packed snow. At around 1050 g per ski in 136 cm, it is also light enough not to feel cumbersome when learning spins and other tricks.

The Idiom Jr. is not designed for deep powder or serious freeriding. Its strengths are the park, tricks, smaller jumps and building confidence across the mountain. The camber gives it decent piste performance, while the narrow waist keeps it fast and nimble.
