CAST Freetour 2.0 Upgrade Kit
The CAST Freetour 2.0 is a no-compromise hybrid binding system designed for skiers who demand full alpine performance alongside efficient touring capability. This upgrade kit converts your existing Look Pivot 15 or 18 bindings into a versatile freeride touring solution, ideal for big mountain lines, backcountry missions, and lift-access touring.
At the heart of the system is a simple yet robust toe interchange mechanism. For the ascent, the lightweight tech toe dramatically reduces weight and increases efficiency. For the descent, you switch back to the alpine toe, retaining the trusted elasticity, retention, and release characteristics of the Look Pivot platform.
Engineered and manufactured in-house in the USA, the Freetour 2.0 is built from high-grade materials including machined 7075 aluminum and stainless steel for maximum durability in demanding mountain conditions.
Built for freeride progression
Whether you're building jumps deep in the backcountry or sending technical lines, the Freetour 2.0 gives you the confidence to ski hard. With the proven retention and elasticity of the Pivot system, you can push limits without worrying about unwanted pre-release—exactly when it matters most.
Trusted by professional athletes, mountain guides, and patrollers worldwide, the Freetour 2.0 delivers a seamless transition between touring and freeriding—without sacrificing safety or performance.
Ski Quiver Versatility
While built for freeride, the Freetour system is equally suited for skiers stepping into touring who may not spend every day skinning. Although the initial investment is higher, it can be a cost-effective solution by replacing the need for multiple setups—delivering both uphill capability and uncompromised downhill performance in one system. It also simplifies travel, making it easy to bring just one pair of skis and be ready for any conditions.
