Black Crows Pilus Ova Freebird 156 cm Skins

These Black Crows Pilus skins are pre-cut for the Ova Freebird 156 and are sold separately from the skis. They use a 70% mohair / 30% nylon mix, combining good glide with durability for regular ski touring.

The Ultra Light membrane keeps the skins light and compact, while the glide treatment helps them move efficiently on the skin track. A hydrophobic, fluorine-free treatment improves water resistance without using PFCs. In other words, less water absorption and no fluorinated chemistry — just useful skin technology doing its job.

The steel tip loop and polyamide elastic tail attachment keep the skins securely positioned on the ski, including during traverses. The skins are shaped and trimmed for the Ova Freebird 156, so there is no need to start the morning with a knife and a perfectly good pair of scissors wondering what went wrong.

Although originally made for the Ova Freebird 156, these skins should also work adequately on skis with a waist of approximately 86 mm or narrower and a length between approximately 154 and 161 cm. Examples include the Line Pandora 85 in 161 cm and Völkl Yumi in 161 cm. This is a practical dimensional fit rather than manufacturer-confirmed compatibility, so ski shape and tip/tail attachment points should always be checked.
