The Atomic Backland Carbon is a high-performance ski touring boot designed for ambitious skiers who demand maximum efficiency on the ascent and precise control on the descent. With a narrow 98mm last, it delivers a close, performance-oriented fit ideal for low-volume feet and technical terrain.

Built with Carbon Loaded PA shell and Carbon Fiber cuff, this boot offers exceptional strength while keeping weight extremely low at just 1,166 g per boot (26–26.5). The Prolite construction further reduces weight while reinforcing key zones for solid downhill performance. The Cross Lace 2.0 closure system ensures a precise and even wrap around the foot.

For uphill movement, the Free/Lock 4.0 ski/walk mechanism provides a smooth transition and a generous 74° range of motion, allowing a natural, energy-efficient stride. Inside, the 3D Platinum Tour Liner delivers premium comfort, heel hold, and breathability, and is fully heat moldable for a personalized fit.

Memory Fit technology allows customization of shell and cuff, while features like Frictionless Pivot and Stretch Guard 360 ensure smooth movement and durability in demanding conditions. The Skywalk sole provides reliable grip and full touring binding compatibility.
